Daywise Itinerary
The day-1 embarks at the start of your journey.
After you arrive at Coimbatore, our agent will meet you, and then you’ll proceed to Ooty.
The distance to Ooty is about 85 km which will take about 2-3 hours to cover
Once you reach Ooty, you’ll check into your hotel and can rest a bit
After freshening up the day, will proceed with sightseeing of the following places
- Ooty Lake
- The Ooty Rose Garden
- Doddabetta Peak
- The Thread Garden
- The children’s park
- Ooty tea factory
- Ooty wax museum
After visiting the places, our agent will take you to some local shopping, and then you’ll retire for your night at the hotel.
The Pykara River flows north of Ooty, rising from the Mukurthi hill and giving birth to a succession of beautiful Pykara waterfalls and the enormous Pykara Lake.
While the trip to the lake is beautiful in and of itself, the boating inside is equally so!
The dam and power plant built on the river have resulted in the formation of Pykara Lake. The river tumbles down the cliffs a few hundred meters north of the lake, forming the famous Pykara Falls!
The nearby Boat Club or Boat House, as it is more commonly known, adds to the allure of this little panoramic tourist complex nestled among the hills

You’ll be returning to your hotel and the next day will be an explanation to the beautiful Coonoor!
Day-3 begins with a hearty breakfast at your hotel, after which our agent will take you to travel to Coonoor.
The distance between Pykara and Coonoor is about 20 km, taking less than an hour of travel.
After reaching you’ll be sightseeing at the following places
- Simps park
- Dolphine nose
- Lambs rock
- Tea garden
- Ketti View Point
- Madras regimental centre (only outside view is allowed)
- Gymkhana Club (only outside view is allowed)
After sightseeing, you’ll return to relax at your hotel again and wait for the day of departure.
- Well, day-4, as the heading signifies, will be the point when the tour ends!
- After a healthy breakfast at the hotel, you’ll be packing your bags with loads of memories, and then our agent will drop you back at Coimbatore airport or railway station.
